Beyond wood

Our veneers

European Oak

European Oak veneer is produced from oak wood, which belongs among the most important and most valued hardwood trees of European forests. Oaks grow mainly in the temperate climate zone of Europe, where they thrive on deeper and fertile soils. Due to their slow growth, their wood gains high density and a characteristic grain, which has been associated for centuries with quality furniture and traditional craftsmanship.

Its wood has a characteristic grain with prominent annual rings and a pleasant natural appearance. The colour of oak veneer ranges from light brown to medium brown, while it may slightly darken over time. Each piece of veneer is original because the wood grain is always unique. This gives furniture and interior elements a natural and elegant appearance.

Oak veneer is used in the production of furniture, doors, wall panels and decorative interior elements. It is especially popular in modern as well as traditional interiors, where it creates a feeling of warmth and quality. The veneer surface can be further treated by staining, lacquering or oiling, making it possible to achieve different shades and increase its resistance to wear.

The main advantages of oak veneer include its aesthetic value, ecological friendliness and economical use of wood. Compared to solid oak, veneered material is lighter, more affordable and less prone to deformation caused by changes in humidity. Nevertheless, it retains the appearance of real wood, which cannot be fully replaced by artificial materials.

The journey to veneer

Our values

Our values

Veneer is one of the most important materials used in furniture production, interior design and the manufacture of luxury wooden products. However, for the final product to be aesthetically pleasing and meet high quality standards, it is essential to pay exceptional attention to the production of veneer layups. This is where the master precision of craftsmen and modern technologies becomes evident.

A veneer layup is created by joining individual veneer sheets into larger surfaces. The goal is to create a continuous pattern with the required appearance, structure and dimensions. The process begins with the careful selection of veneer sheets, which must have a similar colour, grain and texture. Every piece of wood is unique, and therefore even the smallest differences must be assessed. A specialist must recognise how the individual sheets will look as a whole after joining and how to make the best use of the natural wood grain.

The joining of veneer sheets itself must be carried out with maximum precision. The edges of the individual sheets are prepared so that they fit together perfectly without visible gaps or overlaps. Modern Kuper thermal joining technology is used for joining them. Even the slightest inaccuracy can become clearly visible after the veneer is bonded to the substrate and can spoil the final appearance of the product.

Today, advanced machines equipped with optical systems and digital control are used in the production of veneer layups. Nevertheless, human experience remains irreplaceable. The aesthetic evaluation of natural material, attention to detail and the ability to create a unique appearance are qualities that cannot be fully automated.

The precision of veneer layup production lies in the combination of traditional craftsmanship, expert knowledge and modern technologies. The result is a surface that appears natural, elegant and aesthetically valuable. A high-quality veneer layup can highlight the beauty of wood and give a product a unique character. It is thanks to this careful work that furniture and interior elements are created which retain their value and admiration for many years.
